<p>I also am now consistently taking creatine (currently in a 15-20 gram loading phase)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I didn&#8217;t get around to writing a blog yesterday, but still got a workout in. Yesterday was a pretty jam packed day as I had to work until 5 and got a quick workout in right after that, then it was off to a relatives house for the night!</p>
<p>Yesterday&#8217;s cardio consisted of a 2 mile run to start it off ( first mile was at a 6 min pace and the second mile at an 8 minute pace).<br />
I was completely dead after that but followed it up with the other following cardio workouts.<br />
50 speed box jumps<br />
10 hanging up-and-over ab workout<br />
25 speed box jumps<br />
10 hanging up-and-over ab workout<br />
25 speed box jumps<br />
10 hanging up-and-over ab workout</p>
<p>2 sets of 35 lb lunges</p>
<p>and lastly finished it off with a half mile run.<br />
&#8230;&#8230;.Very, Very tough workout because I tried to do it at the pace of the 300 workout(a workout you can google that has about 10 lifts all in a row that you do as fast as possible).<br />
It&#8217;s a shorter cardio workout, but I&#8217;m not here to burn any muscle. When trying to put on mass, you need to cut your cardio in half and work twice as hard when doing your workouts!</p>
<p>So give it a shot and let me know what you think of it!<br />

Also I just did my next workout of shoulders and arms off p90x and finished up with ab ripper x. WOW that killed me, but I&#8217;m still able to push the ab workout getting every rep in. Just a mental thought to go along with ab ripper x, just imagine how you won&#8217;t feel any additional pain a couple of hours later if you happen to squeeze in a few extra reps here and there. Those few extra reps will go a long way! I promise!<br />

Lastly I ended up purchaseing &#8220;Mass Ultimate&#8221; from Nutrishop and let me tell you it tastes amazing! I got the Mint Chocolate chip flavor and if you take 3 servings(2 scoops) every day, it will last a month and a half! So I&#8217;ll keep up with this supplement and let you know how its working throughout the program!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome back P90x&#8230;. with a few additions! First off I want to start by saying this will once again be a committed round of P90x with a hybrid form. I will run through what will be taking place in a little bit. Lets just say for right now day one kicked the heck out of me! I&#8217;m ready to start back up mainly because I&#8217;ve been eating semi unhealthy lately and haven&#8217;t worked out a whole lot over Christmas break! But here we are again starting a new round of P90x!</p>
<p>Goals for this round:<br />
Current weight 165<br />
Current Body fat (according to a scale that I&#8217;m skeptical of because sometimes my body fat fluctuates about 5% from day to day):12%<br />
Main goal: Put on 15 lbs of mass</p>
<p>How this will be accomplished?<br />
Weights will increase by 10-15 lbs from what I left off at and reps will be only 8-10.</p>
<p>Nutrition: Also will play a role as I will resume my healthy style of eating(more on this and what I eat in later blogs)</p>
<p>Also I&#8217;ve been tempted to try creatine but really I might just see the results of this round and take it from there.</p>
<p>Next- I plan on purchasing a post workout drink from NutriShop preferably AfterGlow or Pro5(Both Great Selections!)<br />
(Also the reason I might not go with AfterGlow is because it does contain small amounts of creatine)</p>

So, with that all out of the way, I&#8217;ll start off by saying the progress I&#8217;ve made from day 1 on this very same workout almost a year ago to what I am at now is pretty amazing.<br />
I remember the first time doing this workout it was about 4 pullups max and I wouldn&#8217;t even be able to do any pullups by set 3! Also I remember starting out at a consistent 10-20 pushups for each workout(meaning round 1) but round 2 was something in the ball park of 5-10)<br />
ALL OF THESE NUMBERS HAVE TRIPLED!</p>
<p>So as always remember to write down your numbers and track your improvements! ( It creates a mental image of success which also leads to satisfaction and creates the desire to want to workout more!)</p>

Next a basic overview of what is going to take place throughout the next 3 months.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll first start off by saying I do plan on doing every yoga session this time around because in my opinion it&#8217;s one of the best workouts for you in P90x.</p>
<p>Next I recently just received a Nike + ipod chip for running for Christmas and also will be working that in. It&#8217;s actually a pretty cool device that tracks your calories, stride length, distance traveled, and so on all to the tee!<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I&#8217;m going to first apologize about the last post. I wrote about a 3 paragraph post in which when I tried to post it wordpress had a server error and it didn&#8217;t even save it so I just posted what was in the first paragraph.</p>
<p>But onto today, I ended up getting both 2 hours of basketball in and my legs workout. Mainly my legs workout after basketball was extremely tough because I had been running for the last 2 hours. But basically I know it was a good workout because I&#8217;ll be in awkward walk mode tomorrow when I wake up!</p>
<p>Also for an update- Ever since I began this somewhat of a &#8220;hybrid&#8221; workout and my creatine cycles, I&#8217;ve put on 2 additional pounds and am only 3-5 away from my goal with over 2 months left! Also I&#8217;ve noticed since taking creatine I recover a lot quicker in between pullups and other p90x lifts. So before when I wasn&#8217;t taking creatine I was able to do about 12 pull ups on the first set in back and biceps then it just completely tailed off to the point where I was struggling to do 3-4 because my arms were toast. Now I stay paced and get a minimum of 6 per every set of pullups. More reps means more results so I&#8217;m pretty happy about this accomplishment.</p>
<p>Also I just want to run down what my hybrid consists of. It&#8217;s not really a hybrid tailored to a strict schedule of doing 6 of the same workouts a week and do it 3 weeks in a row. Mine is more designed to what is going on in my days and if I can afford to have no legs (after a military leg workout). Basically on Sunday&#8217;s and Monday&#8217;s I wont be doing any leg workouts because of basketball. Also the Insanity cardio&#8217;s haven&#8217;t really came into play as much as I&#8217;ve wanted it to. But with only a month left of our basketball season, I will have a more defined hybrid in which I won&#8217;t have those days of thinking &#8220;Hmmmm should I do Plyo-Cardio circuit&#8221;.</p>
<p>Lastly, I&#8217;d like point out that none of the links on my product page work. Basically as of right now I&#8217;m not looking to really profit off of this, because I don&#8217;t really have the proper cash in flow to fund it. <p><strong>My workout looked like the following:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Run 1/4 mile</strong></p>
<p><strong>Squats for 8-10 reps depending on when I start to struggle</strong></p>
<p><strong>Lunges</strong></p>
<p><strong>Calf Raises</strong></p>
<p><strong>Then repeat 3 more times.</strong></p>
<p>This workout will be occasionally used instead of Insanity to help build muscle because of the resistance it provides.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today was yet another Chest and Back Workout of the P90x Variety and also was my first loading day of creatine. What does loading mean? During the loading phase, you will take more creatine than usual to get your body ready for it. During my loading phase I am taking in <strong>10 grams (2 teaspoons powder) </strong>of creatine per day for the first week. Then for the next three months I will taper down to <strong>5 grams (1 teaspoon powder). </strong>After that 3 month period (also the end of my hybrid) I will completely stop taking in creatine period to end my cycle of it. The reason people take creatine in cycles is because they want to get the “first month results” or the initial increase in mass and weight that most people experience when first starting <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">creatine</span>. People also cycle because if you take <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">creatine</span> for a long period of time, your body shuts down it’s natural <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">creatine</span> production.</p>
<p>By the way, as of result of taking in creatine I will begin to add leg workouts and lifts into my hybrid to get a more even distributed weight gain rather then getting more of a triangular look by only doing upper body lifts.</p>
